The GoBabyGo! Story

The GoBabyGo! Project History

In the early 2000's, a research team at the University of Delaware, led by professor Cole Galloway, DPT started a project to provide independent mobility to kiddos with special needs. Their "babies' driving robots" project went viral and soon they needed a more sustainable solution than expensive engineered single-use robots.

Car Builds & Workshops

A few years after The GoBabyGo! Project got started, the team found a cost-effective solution and alternate to robots & $50,000 powered wheelchairs; toys - specifically ride-on cars from local toy stores.

They created a simple system for adapting the ride-on cars with easily accessible parts & pieces. And soon, car builds and chapters were popping up all over the globe. We've built cars with clinics, chapters, colleges, the NFL, NASCAR, Mattel and more!
